We are a registered co-operative founded by Diepsloot youth in 2006 after attending a Buyisa-e-Bag camp. Since then, BKT has grown into a trusted recycling partner employing 10 permanent staff and working with 80+ collectors.
Drop-off and purchase of PET, HDPE, paper, cardboard, cans and more with onsite baling.
Route collection for businesses, estates and schools. Source separation training included.
Monthly clean-ups with waste reclaimers; PPE support and dignity-driven engagement.
Education, recycling cages and competitions to inspire learners to protect nature.
Waste stream assessments and reporting to help organisations meet compliance targets.
Beautifying schools and streets—over 300 trees planted across Diepsloot & Soweto.
Organised, community-rooted, and quality-driven waste management you can trust.
Bontle Ke Tlhago provides organised and professional waste management services. We go the extra mile to ensure the waste we resell is of high quality—well packaged, clean, and properly sorted.
As the first buy-back centre established in Diepsloot, we have played a major role in the Separation at Source Programme operated by the City of Johannesburg, and continue to do so.
As residents of Diepsloot, we are deeply committed to providing services that improve the community and reduce unemployment through the buying and selling of waste. We have been involved in clean-up campaigns since 2008, partnering with local organisations to promote environmental awareness and donating trees to schools annually for Arbor Week.
We work with public and private partners to grow recycling, create jobs, and keep communities clean.
Sponsor equipment, support a school recycling program, or create a collection route for your business or estate.
